Oral / Poster Presentation Guidelines :

On-site Oral Session

2. Presentation Materials:

a) Please prepare your slides in PowerPoint format with a 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen), which is best suited for LCD screen display. Use a minimum resolution of 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) to ensure clear and sharp visuals. 

b) Bring your presentation file on a USB memory stick as a backup. No specific conference template is required.

3. Uploading Materials:

Kindly upload your presentation file to the computer in the conference room at least 15 minutes before your session begins.

4. Presentation & Conference Etiquette:

a) Please wear your name tag at all times and follow the instructions of the session chair.

b) To ensure a smooth and professional delivery, please number your slides for easy reference. This will help both the audience and the session chair quickly locate specific points during the Q&A session. When responding to questions, kindly refer to the relevant slide number to facilitate clear and effective discussion.

Online Oral Session

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend the upcoming SEGT 2026 conference we will put in place an alternative solution to ensure your work can still be showcased: Pre-recorded video – video file format: MP4 (.mp4)

• Maximum video duration: 10 minutes.
• Video format: MP4, with a maximum file size of 500 MB.
• Video dimensions: 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) – (aspect ratio: 16:9)
• Video content: Presentation slides prominently featured, accompanied by the spoken presentation.
• Encouraged: Include shots of the speaker’s head for improved engagement.

* * Please note that we do not offer live streaming for oral and poster sessions during on-site presentations. You may not be able to access the oral / poster for on-site presentations

Poster Session

1. Presentation time:

* Poster evaluation will be conducted on 15 and 16 December 2026

2. Poster size: A1 size (841 mm x 594 mm) – All poster presenters must print and bring their posters (specific format required).

3. The poster’s Paper Number (submission ID) is attached on the top of the display board.
4. Items needed to attach the posters will be provided by the SEGT 2024 secretariat.
5. Please wear your name tag and be prepared to answer questions from poster session chair / panel.
